Remember last Wednesday when I posted pics of Rita sporting her Doggles? Well, Sunday was the first time we actually remembered to try them in the car:
"I know it's cute, but must I wear them?" |
She eventually got tired of them and pushed them up off her eyes. |
(Oops - busted... you can see that she's not wearing a harness in the car. We should probably start training her to wear the car harness next... She'd probably be better about wearing it than Abby was. Abby would get all tangled up in it cuz she was such a spazz!)
Sorry - this was not very wordless... But the pics mainly tell the story!
Does your pup like to stick his/her head out the car window?
We just bought Doggles, too. Looking forward to seeing how they work!
ReplyDeleteKeep on wagging,
Tootsie
Woof! Woof! Gotta protect those eyes. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar
ReplyDeleteWe are driving by on the BlogPaws blog hop!
ReplyDeleteRita, please try to keep those glasses on if you need to poke your head out of the car window. It is important to protect those beautiful eyes!
ReplyDeleteShe looks Amelia Earhart-esque, especially with the doggles pushed up. And, yes, she should be buckled in. You don't want her to become a flying projectile in the event of a crash.
ReplyDeleteI really want a pair of doggles for Lulu! I think she'll kill me. If my friends ever see them, I'm pretty sure they'll kill me. But I want a pair nonetheless.

Rita does look very cute in those Doggles, though she'd look cute in anything!! :)
ReplyDeleteHead out the window, yeah right, as if I get any chance of that, I'm stuck in the back row of the car in my harness - though I do get my own air back there AND I get the big back window to look out of :)
Wags to all,
Your pal Snoopy :)
Rita is too cute! Ms. Wilma would like to have some of those Doggles!
ReplyDeleteEvery time I see Doggles I'm curious about how the dogs take to them. Apparently it's not a no-brainer.
ReplyDeleteI hope Rita learns to tolerate them soon.
Luckily Honey is kinda delicate and doesn't like to stick her head way out the window. And now that we're limited to traveling by bike, we don't go fast enough to need eye protection. :)
Those Doggles are cute! My dogs don't stick their heads out the window because I always worry that then they'll try to jump out! lol. Here's to Rita enjoying her rides!
ReplyDeleteThe doggles look great! I'm afraid if I tried them on either of my dogs they would throw them out the window somehow... they are sneaky like that.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool dog. :) My girl likes having her head out the window. Her brother sits right behind me so he can feel the wind from my window.
