Wordless Wednesday: Happy New Year

Happy New Year! Here's hoping '13 will be lucky for all of us!

Okay, because I find it next to impossible to be wordless and because I always over-explain everything, I have to add that this isn't actually a New Year's picture. It's really from our family Christmas party (thanks Terry & Jon for the champagne "stocking stuffer"!). I think it's kinda pretty with all the different champagne glasses - just like all the different crazy people in my family!

Anyway, New Year's Eve is my least favorite holiday - oh wait... I might dislike Valentine's Day even more... that's a toughie...

Because we're not crazy about NY's, we usually spend it very quietly and almost never stay up past midnight. Same thing this year! Rita, the hubs and I were in bed long before midnight!

How about you? Did you have a fabulous NY's Eve or a quiet one? Or a fabulous quiet one?

  1. I agree with you on NYE. Way too much build up, it's hard to live up to expectations!

We spent it driving for 8 hours, arriving home about 30 minutes before midnight. It was great! The ordinarily jammed highway (95N) was wide open!

  2. We had a fabulously quiet one. Although I do love watching the NYC ball drop in Times Square. Happy 2013!
