Wordless Wednesday: Our Minx, the Sphinx

Remember I told you about Rita's artwork/custom-bedding project? I didn't have the heart to throw it away, so it's in our bedroom and she sleeps on it every night. (Sometimes I hide it under her blankie but she's not crazy about that.)

Here she's our little minx in her custom bed, doing her sphinx imitation:
It's hard to tell in this pic, but she has a hole dug out that's the perfect size for her body, and she fits herself down into it, with her butt up against the back "wall." She loves it.

By the way, remember when I mentioned I might be neck-deep in edits off on on for my new novel? Well, right now it's ON! So if I don't get around to visit all your blogs like I normally would, I'll be back next week!

Thanks to Blogpaws for hosting Wordless Wednesday!

    1. Oh, no worries there. She barely eats FOOD, so I don't have to worry about her eating the fluff that she's scratching away.

  13. What happens when you turn it over so she can't get to her specially dug nook? Hehehehe. That thing is such an eyesore, but if Blueberry ever did something like that and loved it, I'd totally keep it too. :) I think it shows the true heart of a dog owner when you are willing to put your dog's comfort first.

    1. She'd just start digging from the other side, I bet! Yeah... I agree, we true dog lovers put up with a lot of "ugly" to make the dogs happy! :) (I hide it under a blanket if there's the slightest chance anyone will be coming into our bedroom!)

  17. She's so adorable, I love it when Delilah sits like that, but she also crosses her front paws and she looks so much like a lady. Which we all of course know that she isn't.
