Remember I told you about Rita's artwork/custom-bedding project? I didn't have the heart to throw it away, so it's in our bedroom and she sleeps on it every night. (Sometimes I hide it under her blankie but she's not crazy about that.)
Here she's our little minx in her custom bed, doing her sphinx imitation:
It's hard to tell in this pic, but she has a hole dug out that's the perfect size for her body, and she fits herself down into it, with her butt up against the back "wall." She loves it.
By the way, remember when I mentioned I might be neck-deep in edits off on on for my new novel? Well, right now it's ON! So if I don't get around to visit all your blogs like I normally would, I'll be back next week!
Thanks to Blogpaws for hosting Wordless Wednesday!
Enjoy the editing process!
ReplyDeleteI love that she made her own little hole in the bed. Clever girl.
She is so pretty!
ReplyDeleteMy sister Bailie, aka the destroyer of beds, says your work is positively amazing, Rita!
ReplyDeleteShe has it just the way she wants it. :)
ReplyDeleteSo funny that she carved her own indent into the bed!!
ReplyDeleteLOL She's a creative girl!
ReplyDeleteLOL great customisation there Rita. Have a wonderful Wednesday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
Minx indeed looks like a grand sphinx!
ReplyDeleteThat is just the funniest thing.
ReplyDeleteA sphinx indeed.
ReplyDeleteHaha...Jack has a bed that looks just like that.
ReplyDeleteIt does look cozy I just hope she's not eating it! Love Dolly
ReplyDeleteOh, no worries there. She barely eats FOOD, so I don't have to worry about her eating the fluff that she's scratching away.
DeleteThat's what we call "custom made" people spend major bucks for that look - Rita saved you buckets of money!!
ReplyDeleteWhat an adorable little nest she's made!
ReplyDeleteMaggie and Gussie would eat that right up and mom would haf to frow it away....she is a good girl....stella rose
ReplyDeleteWhat happens when you turn it over so she can't get to her specially dug nook? Hehehehe. That thing is such an eyesore, but if Blueberry ever did something like that and loved it, I'd totally keep it too. :) I think it shows the true heart of a dog owner when you are willing to put your dog's comfort first.
ReplyDeleteShe'd just start digging from the other side, I bet! Yeah... I agree, we true dog lovers put up with a lot of "ugly" to make the dogs happy! :) (I hide it under a blanket if there's the slightest chance anyone will be coming into our bedroom!)
DeleteThey'll always be a Rita shaped hole somewhere! MOL
ReplyDeleteI love how Rita has customized that bed just to her liking, and how you let her keep it! Love her sphinx pose too!
ReplyDeleteJan, Wag 'n Woof Pets
Not very attractive but she looks quite cozy!
ReplyDeleteShe's so adorable, I love it when Delilah sits like that, but she also crosses her front paws and she looks so much like a lady. Which we all of course know that she isn't.
ReplyDeleteGreat picture! Congrats on your edits!
ReplyDeleteHey,,,,if you gonna bother to make your own "special spot",,,,you may as well custromize it to fit your read end perfectly,,,,right, Rita ?
