Being Wordless With the Word of the Year

Did you hear what the Oxford Dictionary said the word of the year is for 2013? 

Yep, "selfie." Just be thankful it wasn't "twerk."
Okay, between this post and the one the other day, that's probably enough selfies. Will try to cut back in 2014. (And trust me... you will never see twerking here. Ever.)

 Look how wordless I was!!

 In Other Wee News...
I was way wordier over HERE on the lovely Barbara Techel's blog. (You might remember Barbara from her visit earlier this year with her adorable guest post entitled Poop Happens.) Now she's invited me for a chat! Please stop by if you have a minute. We chatted about special-needs pups, where I get my sense of humor, and my new book, among other things.     Funny post!! I tried to use the word of the year in a post but Gracie refused to hold the camera to take the selfie!!! BOL and like you there will be no tweaking on my blog either.

    Oh my...the word of the year? Really? Thankfully mom doesn't do too many selfies-she's too busy taking pics of our cute faces :) And if she does have a pic of herself, she has someone else take it and she generally has a puppy in it.

    Too funny. I don't really get it. Never seen a selfie yet that really flattered the subjects. Not that you and Rita don't look fantastic in yours ;). As for twerking -- also not a pretty picture; thinking it's a big no-no for women with Hanten hips.

    i was so upset about "selfie" being the word of the year because I can't stand that word! There was a debate on The Today Show about whether or not photos with more than one person (or animal) are "selfies"....I believe they inferred that "selfies" are just photos of ourselves but who cares? lol
