I try to keep her calm, by closing her up in our bedroom and drawing the blinds. Unfortunately, we have these vertical blinds where all she has to do is shove them aside to see the intruders. Our usually fairly calm girl turns into the Tasmanian Devil: (sorry about the picture quality, but it was dark and I was just using my phone. And she was a moving target!)
"Hey you!" |
"Yeah! You!" |
"Come here so I can rip your head off!" |
"Chicken!! I bet that's what you taste like!" |
Thanks to Snoopy’s Dog Blog, Alfie’s Blog, and My Brown Newfies for hosting Monday Mischief!
Hmmmm....Kessie thinks that maybe other dogs (outside) taste like chicken!!

Bol! Look at her going to town! Shiner also hates intruders and she has kind of a scary bark.
ReplyDeleteWoof! Jeffie is mighty impressed. He feels exactly the same way about strangers. Jeffie is absolutely sure the FedEx man tastes like chicken ;-)
ReplyDeleteThats the same with all the dogs :P they dont like new people in their home

That looks like good aerobic exercise to me!
ReplyDeleteI think you absolutely count it as aerobic activity! Isee she made it to #9 on the Leaderboard for last week. Well Done!
ReplyDeleteShe can really got some air! I think this definitely qualifies as a workout!
ReplyDeleteHoly cow, sign that girl up for the jumping contest. She has some serious air there.
ReplyDeleteMy dogs love our gardener. That would be me. but they are convinced that the garbage men are stealing our stuff.
ReplyDeletePAWSOME JUMPING!! Rita should enter a jumping contest. Just make sure your gardener is one of the judges.
ReplyDeleteOMD! Rita can jump!!

Are you sure she doesn't just want to join in the gardener's fun?
ReplyDeleteLOL a good way to work in a workout!
ReplyDeleteHa ha ha! Oh, that would totally be Morgan, too! Maybe next time you should just shoot video! lol
ReplyDeleteBeamer has never cared for our gardeners. But at least Rita got a leg workout for the day from all the jumping!
ReplyDeleteJumping doggies, Rita can really get some air under her! BOL I hate the gardner too.
ReplyDeleteI see SlimDoggy gave you the go ahead on that! That totally looks like high intensity aerobics to me....wow, she can really jump high! How long does she keep it up for?
ReplyDeleteOur dogs bark at the neighbors when they are out in their OWN yard!!
We don't like it when humans trespass on our lawn either!
ReplyDeleteHey Rita
ReplyDeleteYou must need a big nap after they've been! I also go nuts when the gardeners come, and we have those same kinda blinds - I totally wrecked the blinds at the front of the house (twice) due to gardeners inciting me with those machines!
Now Mum makes me go into the closet with her for 10 minutes and gets me to chill with her and the music and stop barking and I get petted, she's looking for a better solution, I say let me at 'em! :)
I hope you're having a fun day,
Your pal Snoopy :)
Holy crap she can jump, guess she really doesn't like the gardener.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! You'd think Rita was on a trampoline! I'm surprised your blinds have survived. Wrigs has grown pretty mellow towards strangers over the years. Oddly, he mostly barks at people and dogs who are walking down the street above our yard, but not that much at people who come into the yard. He's selective. He likes FedEX, but UPS not so much.

P.S. Love that you were in Oklahoma! :-)
That definitely counts! That girl can jump. Four paws off, yeah that counts. I bet he does taste like chicken too.
ReplyDeleteHoly WOW can she jump! I think you met the requirements for both blog hops with those antics. :-)
