Wordless Wednesday: Uninvited Visitors

In just the last couple of days, we've had a lot of uninvited visitors. First there was this little guy:
"May I come in? No? Okay, then, I'll just poop and be on my way!"

I'm not sure what kind of bird that is, but Rita was not happy that he seemed to want in. He pooped on the deck (I guess that's where the term "poop deck" comes from) and was on his merry way.

Then this ginormous moth stopped by. He was not welcomed in. (I no-likey the big bugs.)
"Seriously, I'm not selling anything. I just want to come in for a minute."
Then this guy came by:
"I just need to check Google Maps for one second!"
Then Rita tried to make a new friend. (I know this is a terrible pic - I snapped it quickly with my bee-free iPad - but it's supposed to show Rita play-blowing to a beetle.)
"Please play with me! It's so boring around here."
Maybe it's cuz spring is in the air?? Is spring in the air where you are?

Happy (not really) Wordless Wednesday!

    1. Yeah, I could do without the bugs... But 'circle of life' and all that... Gotta live and let live! (As long as they don't try to come inside, I'm cool with that...)

    1. He was pretty cute. I took several pics of him through the window. I was afraid he was hurt at first, because he was so un-phased by me being right there snapping his pic. But happily, he eventually flew off. (After leaving me a present.)

  7. Doing my Spring gardening before the pupster arrives. Don't want him getting ideas watching me dig! Managed to bring home an uninvited passenger -- a bee traveled in my trunk along with my lavender plants.

  8. I think we are going to go from winter to summer this year. Our flowers are trying to break through, but it still isn't quite spring yet.

  10. The bird was cute. Too bad it pooped on your deck. Minus 5 cute points. I wouldn't be a huge fan of the bugs visiting my abode either. But at least spring is starting to spring. It's freezing where we live.

I hope you un-freeze soon! (We don't mean to hog all the nice weather...)

  11. Me no-likey little bugs either! We have about a million of those little sparrows and chickadees living in the brush pile in the corner of our suburban backyard all year. They live on the compost and chicken feed. And they poop everywhere. Along with the chickens and ducks. Rita would LOVE it here.

Any chance you're going clear across country to BlogPaws?

    1. Oh, Rita would definitely love it there! She might even be more interested in the chicks and ducks themselves, rather than their poop!

  12. Love the little bird, and yeah, the bugs, not so much! Not Spring here in New England yet, they're promising us we'll feel it tomorrow though. At least the snow is melting anyway, so that's a start.

    1. I know - that darn moth was HUGE. The bee I could handle - and even though Rita wanted to play, she managed to scare the beetle away.

  21. My crocuses are up, and they were crawling with hornets yesterday. Almost made me wish for a little snow to get rid of them (the hornets, not the crocuses)
