Yep, that's our door to our backyard with "caution" tape across it. Watch that first step... it's a doozy.
Since we now have no backyard access due to redoing our patio, we'll have to take Rita out front every morning and night and every other time she needs to do "the bizness." And since our front yard has no fence, she'll have to go out on her leash.
I'm pretty sure the worst part of this is going to be convincing her that this does not mean WALKIES(!) every single time.
Today we escaped the backyard demolition with a 2 hour stint at the beach followed by a long afternoon at the park. She allowed me to use her as a pillow for a bit.
We've only just started this backyard project and I already can't wait until it's done! Gotta go... "Doody" calls!
It looks like she's rolling with the punches of not having a backyard for awhile!
