As soon as good ol' Charles Osgood said yesterday morning that they were going to "leave us" with some coyotes in Wyoming's Grand Teton National Park, I knew Rita would come over to watch, so I grabbed my iPad to record it.
Sure enough, she watched - and got a little upset about that coyote in the "window" on the wall. At the end when she runs off, she's running over to bark at the sliding glass door. Scaring off all those big, bad coyotes who were being mischievous in our backyard!
I wonder if she thinks the TV is a big window? After all, it's kind of a hard concept for a pup to understand. Rita actually watches the TV quite often, but mostly when it's animals. (This isn't the first time I've posted pics of her watching the Moment in Nature...)
Does your pup watch TV?

Jimmy is INSANE for TV, even cartoons. Wilson doesn't know it exists, LOL!
ReplyDeleteRocket is barking at me watching Rita barking at the barking TV!
ReplyDeleteHEE HAW!
I put Rocket to the test the other day and played a video of a dog on the computer. He got in my lap and barked. I immediately click another video but one of him barking and he just watched it with no barking!! Is that strange or what?!?!
Hey Rita,
ReplyDeleteI can tell how excited you are by your tail!! :)
I just ignore the TV, Skype, video, any kind of screen, apart from when I hear Dogs on the computer screen, then I'm interested, but I don't want to look, I just come over cos I'm all puzzled as to where the noise is coming from….. :)
Have fun,
Your pal Snoopy :)
Indy watches animals on TV as you've seen from some FB posts. Once she also followed a baseball off the side of the TV.
ReplyDeleteThis is so funny! Fred's favorite show is dogs with jobs. He always will stop whatever he is doing to watch it. :)
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like a good show, BassetMomma. I'll have to find it so Rita can watch that one too!
ReplyDeleteOMD, that is so cute that she ran over to the sliding door to make she she scared the coyotes off! Leroy barks out the window when he hears an animal on the TV!
ReplyDeleteThat was sooo cute about Rita!
ReplyDeleteOhhhh we LOVED Jackie's book! It is SUPERB! Mom reviewed it on Dakota's blog www.dakotasden.wordpress.com
Our dog is not too interested in TV, but our one cat loves to watch with me: football, survivor, Biggest Loser and Parenthood.
