Wordless Wed.: To Sleep, Perchance To Dream

Sometimes the pups at the shelter just want a little loving during what should be their roaming around, sniffing, and playing time.
If somebody just wants to sleep on me, I can't say no!

It was a little hot out for cuddling, but we had a nice breezy spot under a tree.
Soooo sweet!
Hope he was dreaming of his furever home!

A Great Update
Gus got adopted! Remember Gus? (And his little buddy, Ricky?) He was at the shelter a long time (I know it was over a year, maybe closer to two), so it's great that he's finally found his furever home. Yay, Gus!!!

Happy Wordless Wednesday! Thanks to BlogPaws for hosting! You can check out all the blogs in the hop here.

  5. thats so cute. I know what you mean about heat. Tuvok wants to sleep on top of me at night and last night I had to keep moving him, 90 plus heat even with AC is too hot for sleeping on top off

  7. To me, dogs seem to have much better sleeps than us humans. Harley and Jax are always smiling and sleeping so soundly during the night - I'm so jealous...

  9. Dogs seem to have better dreams than Hamlet had. :-)

Even when my dogs have active dreams they seem to be happily chasing squirrels.

    1. Hehehe. I was thinking that - that the title's not a very happy reference. :) But yes, hopefully dogs have better dreams than Hamlet!

  12. Oh, that's adorable.

I had a similar experience this morning. I was trying to get a perfect snap of a cat for the blog I write for the local humane society, but this guy just wanted to sit in my lap instead of posing for the camera. So we did selfies instead :)
