There Goes Peter Cottontail...

On a recent walk at a nearby park, Rita spotted something...

Something good...

That's right, bunnies!

You can only see a couple in the above photo, but there were about 20 or 30 (!) bunnies and squirrels dotting the grass that morning. They all sprinted off when they spotted Rita. ("Run, Peter, run!")

I knew I was in for it.
We ran after them... Only problem was: #MommaDon'tRun

We (well, Rita) pursued them into the bushes...

But they are elusive little things.

Next time, bunnies. Next time.
Hope springs eternal

  2. Hi Y'all!

Rita, I sympathize with "mommy don't run". My Human is having problems with her foot and ankle so she's not runnin' anymore either! Humans, they can be real "party poopers"!

    Y'all come on by,

  5. They are everywhere here too and Toby wants them for breakfast. Every. Single. Day. Needless to say, leashes come in very very handy for saving the bunnies (actually, I don't think he could catch one anyway, but who knows where he'd end up?)

  19. Oh boy, I'm not sure I'd have a shoulder left if any of my crew saw that! We used to see bunnies around our yard but haven't seen any now in years. It might be just as well, we'd probably have a lot more barking and squealing going on around here if we did!
