When Flea at Jones Natural Chews (y'all know Flea right? If not, check out her blog!) approached us to do a treat review and giveaway, I said we're in!
Now - I don't accept every treat review we're offered. Sometimes because I don't like the ingredients, other times because I'm afraid my PICKY girl might not like the treats. (Y'all know Rita's picky, right? I mean... who else turns down a bite of waffle?? She doesn't even like peanut butter!) But Jones treats are all good stuff - all natural (it's in the name!) and all sourced/made in the US!
Rita's had both the Lamb Lung Puffs and the Windee Rings (trachea) before. She's a fan!
Now, she really likes the Windee Rings...
But she LOVES the lamb lung! She can only wait patiently for soooo long....

Well, she didn't even want to greet me. She ignored me (she never does that) and STOOD on the coffee table (she never does that either!!) to sniff at the box. I knew something was up.
She couldn't wait to get into that box. And then into that bag!

(Note - the lung comes in big pieces, but they easily snap into smaller pieces.) Jones will send the winner the treat of their choice!

Since my dogs can't read (I don't think), they probably wouldn't mind eating lung and trachea. I however...

Honey adores lamb lung. You'd think such a gentle soul would be a vegetarian. But no, when lung is on the line, she becomes a total carnivore.

ReplyDeleteWell it's interesting what parts of other animals our dogs consider tasty. Since your picky Rita likes them, they must be good. Do they last a long time like a chew, or do they just gobble them up? It's hard to tell which one my gang would prefer, but I'm guessing the puffs. Thanks for the giveaway!

We have never had either of these treats before so we would take Rita's recommendation and go with the Lamb Lung Puffs. I'm pretty sure Prince would go nuts for these!
