A Plethora of Pretty Pics of Purple Plants Plus a Perky Pooch

On our walk today, I noticed that there seemed to be a lot of pretty purple plants blooming... so thought I'd share them.

Our pup is also partial to pretty purple plants.

Like the purple plants, our pup is also pretty.

And she is perky...

... and periodically peculiar...

...but perpetually priceless!

We "ran away" last week for a little vacation. Next week - when I'm more organized! - I'll share some of our pics from hiking with Rita.

What are some good "P"-words to describe your pet?

  2. Love the alliteration and cute pics of Rita. She is perennially perplexing, but precocious and a pistol :D

    1. There are a lot of jacarandas in our 'hood so there are lots of lovely lavender trees blooming right now. So pretty. (But so messy! I wouldn't want one in my yard, I must say...)

  4. For Blueberry:

    Petulant
    Pesky
    Persistent
    Pokey
    Persnickety

Everyone that meets Blueberry says how sweet she is and I just think to myself - "Yes, but you don't live with her!" Just kidding, she is sweet - but she has a stubborn streak a mile wide. I'm just glad she became comfortable enough with me to show her true colors. She had me fooled at first too. ;)

    1. Haha. That's sweet she is her "true self" with you. (I should have also used persnickety for Rita - she is SO picky (oh, another p-word!) about what she'll eat!)

Funny, though - I feel like it's the opposite with us/Rita. Sometimes she's really barky/snarly with strangers coming to the house, so I'm sure they're thinking "That dog's the worst!" and I'm thinking "If only you lived with her, you'd see how mostly-sweet she is!"

  7. That's pretty good! Just like Wilson's Wordless Wednesdays titles!

First words that came into my head about Mini that started with the letter "p" were: Pretty and Perfect.

Those are "perfect" words for her!
