Luckily, Rita did NOT go ape over these two.
First there was this big Maine Coon on our TV (who happens to be chef Bobby Flay's cat, Nacho). Rita was intrigued...
And then on our walk we met a really giant cat!
Okay, that was lame. Sorry.
But, hey, this was very un-wordy for me. I should get points for that!
We'll be away next week for a little early spring break! See you the following week!
Thanks to BlogPaws for hosting Wordless Wednesday! Stop by their site to check out all of the other blogs in the hop.
Have fun on Spring Break and hey, those are probably the only two cats Cassius could tolerate. He doesn't like them as well. I think Booker T is just indifferent toward them now that he is getting older.
ReplyDeleteOh, gosh, maybe Rita will become indifferent as she gets older!
DeleteHaha that was funny!!!
ReplyDelete:) Thanks!
Deletelots of cats about
ReplyDeleteRita seems to think they are lurking everywhere - especially the neighbor's cat who has the nerve to come in our yard!
DeleteRita is being a little judgmental of your wordplay, isn't she? Your words do buy her kibble.
ReplyDeleteShe is super judge-y. It's not easy living with her and getting those disdainful looks on the regular.
DeleteWe watched Bobby Flay's story on Sunday Morning too. Pierre perked up when it came on too. Enjoy your spring break ☺
ReplyDeleteIt was cute, that Bobby Flay story - if Rita didn't hate cats so much, it would have made me want to go out and get a Maine Coon!
DeleteIt amused our Lady (maybe she is lame too lol!)
ReplyDeleteWell, good - then I'm not the only one. :)
DeleteJess: Wasn't expecting the really giant "cat" to be that kind!
ReplyDeleteMini: The cat that hangs around here (not sure who invited him) used to pounce us all the time, so we don't really like him. We all gang up on him from time to time and give him a good barking for ;)
A good barking for is necesarry sometimes with these pouncy cats! (Rita tried to give our neighbor cat a good barking for once when he came in our yard, but then he turned back and hissed at her, and man, you shoulda heard our little drama queen SCREAM! It echoed down the canyon.... So embarrassing.)
DeleteWe love it!! Sometimes being lame is the best way to be! ;)
ReplyDeleteYeah, I pretty much go through life that way, so don't really know any other way. :)
DeleteI have to say, that stone kitty looks totally real! And ready to pounce. I can't blame Rita for going a little ape over it, LOL!!
ReplyDeleteLove & biscuits,
Dogs Luv Us and We Luv Them
Rita thought that stone kitty not only looked real, but menacing as well! :)
DeleteLOL....your Mama knows how to make us laugh, Rita! Luke would have gone nuts over that cat on the TV...but he's getting used to the other kind of CAT since we've been having trees cut in our yard!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your spring break!
Yeah, Reggie would have gone nuts of the TV kitty too. Rita just likes to watch them when they're on TV - luckily!
DeleteTee, hee. Good one with that last photo. Have a pawsome time away!
ReplyDeleteThanks! Just a few days away, but it will be nice to get away from the never-ending kitchen remodel. :)
DeleteYou take a lot of trips! Lucky you!
ReplyDeleteYeah... the hubs's job is pretty stressful, so a while ago he said he wants us to try to take time off at least one week/quarter, so, hey, I'm not going to argue with that. :) We're not going far, and only for a couple of days - mostly a "staycation" - but it will be nice.
DeleteTaking a ride somewhere on the CAT for spring break?
ReplyDeleteHaha. Yes, it's going to be a slooooow road trip.
DeleteI love it when the dogs watch television! Liam the pug used to do that a lot. He especially loved to see big horses on television. In real life? Not so much. Barking ensued.
ReplyDeleteJean from Welcome to the Menagerie
Oh, that's funny. Rita doesn't pay that much attention to horses on TV. She mostly likes cats (of all sizes), birds, squirrels, and dogs/wolves. She'll even watch if they're cartoon animals.
DeleteLOL! Glad Rita did OK with her new "cat" friends. Ruby actually loves cats more than other dogs.
ReplyDeleteOh, that's interesting! I wish Rita liked cats!
DeleteBOL!! Funny big cat!! We have a cat that visits our backyard every day but Shasta doesn't even seem to notice. ;-)
ReplyDeletehello rita its dennis the vizsla dog hay i think yoo wer rite to play it kool with those two cats i do not think eether wun of them wood be susceptibul to ennything yoo cud throw at them!!! hav a fun vaykayshun see yoo soon!!! ok bye
ReplyDeleteHey, I love goofy, haha! Cats off to you! 😉
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your break! The only dog in our house gets overly excited about cats is Hiker with Arthur. Every time she senses him.
ReplyDeleteHave a fun vacation.
