Reggie (our current house guest) was very interested in the banana the hubs was planning to snack on the other night.
He's a banana.
Look at me, being so wordless!

The boys LOVE bananas. I swear Pierre can hear one being peeled even when he is sound asleep. I will go to GoodReads and register. Yippee!
ReplyDeleteThat's so funny about Pierre. Rita is NOT interested in any fruits! Hope you win one of the books!
DeleteI Loooooooooooooooove Bananananananas!
ReplyDeleteWOOF!
Well, with your name, I would hope so! :)
DeleteBOL!
DeleteLOL Reggie is so cute!
ReplyDeleteIsn't he??
DeleteMy guys think they like banana, that is until it is in their mouths. Then there is a quick ejection noise, and the gooey bite is on the floor!
ReplyDeleteOh, awesome. Thanks, guys! lol
DeleteWe love bananas at my house. Bailie stole the whole bunch once when Mom was gone. She peeled and ate four or five of them.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! I bet she had a tummy ache after that! At least she peeled them! :)
DeleteA new book? Girl - I am ready like freddie to read another one of your books. Yea!!!! Congrats my friend. FYI - I've got a banana at home too - his name is Jaxson LOL
ReplyDeletehaha, yeah, Jaxson does look like he could be part banana! :) Hope you'll like the new book! Go enter and win!
DeleteWhat dog doesn't like bananas?!? Though, I would recommend peeling it first. BOL
ReplyDeleteOz
Rita doesn't! And Reg wasn't interested once it was peeled! (That is a good recommendation, Oz!)
DeleteI love that banana smile that Reggie has on his face in the last photo, lol! Sometimes Haley will eat bananas and other times she passes on them. I guess they're not one of her favorite fruits.
ReplyDeleteI'm surprised Rita doesn't like them. She loves sweet things - but thinks bananas are disgusting!
DeleteReggie is too cute. I am about 20% into House Trained now and really loving it. I can sooo relate to Alex...my children all have 4 legs!
ReplyDeleteHooray! Glad you're loving it!
DeleteReggie is so cute! Does he actually like bananas? Rudy and Rosie do, but Jeffie thinks we might be trying to poison him when they're offered :-)
ReplyDeleteNo, he didn't want any once it was open. And, of course, Rita agrees with Jeffie!
DeleteReggie wants some potassium :) With that sweet face I'll bet he got some!!
ReplyDeleteActually he didn't get any! I don't know if he just wasn't interested once the hubs peeled it, or he's just used to not eating people food, but he walked away, but he didn't even ask for a bite once it was peeled.
DeleteI don't think I have ever tried banana - I must talk to mom about that
ReplyDeletehugs
Mabel
Bailey & Hazel too
Maybe you'll like it! Rita says, just say no to all fruits!
DeleteWe are divided 2-2 on whether bananas are potassium rich culinary delights or garbage that no self respecting dog would go near.
ReplyDeleteRita votes garbage. And I don't know if Reg has even ever tasted it, so not sure how he'd vote!
DeleteI love bananas...in fact I will start a food fight if I think mom is not going to give me her banana...I can be rude like that...........stella rose
ReplyDeleteYou're just a good communicator, Stella Rose! You get your point across!
DeleteI've tried giving my dogs a banana, but they just look at me and can't decide what they are supposed to do with it.
ReplyDeleteSame here. I don't get it. Personally, I love bananas! A perfect food - and even comes in it's own handy carrying case!
DeleteBananas are a big hit here!
ReplyDeleteThey're only a hit here with the humans!
DeleteI go crazy for bananas!!! :)
ReplyDeleteBoy, so many banana lovers here!
DeleteBananas are a fave around here, too! Yum!
ReplyDeleteBoy, I had no idea so many dogs loved bananas! I've actually never had a dog that would eat a banana. And I had a beagle who would eat almost anything!
DeleteDogs love bananas don't they, especially dipped in peanut butter - YUM!
ReplyDeleteLove & Biscuits,
Dogs Luv Us and We Luv Them
Welll, not Rita. She hates bananas. And she hates peanut butter! Unheard of, I know!
DeleteReggie is a cutie! Our pups were each very skeptical of bananas at first but now like them, just like Reggie!
ReplyDeleteReg was only interested while it had the peel on, so I don't know if he really likes them or not! And Rita hates them. Oh well, more banana for me and the hubs!
DeleteDelilah LOVES bananas! She waits every morning when I'm making my smoothie and I reward her with the very bit at the end. Once I found the stem of the banana on the floor. I have no idea how she got it, but seeing as it's so hard, I was totally glad she did not swallow it.
ReplyDeleteThe pack all love bananas. Usually they get a couple of slices in the bottom of their kibble dishes. Slightly amusing to watch blind and deaf Brook try and get her slices out of her slow feed bowl, since they tend to stick!
ReplyDeleteActually it looks to me like Reggie is trying to show your hubby the best way to open a banana. Monkeys open from the end opposite the stem. And that's the side Reggie is nibbling on. :)
ReplyDeleteClever dog, making sure he gets a yummy dose of potassium. :)
ReplyDeleteLuke loves bananas. Dad has one every morning and Luke is always right there waiting for his bite.
ReplyDeleteReggie is so darn cute...his expression in that last photo is priceless!
Not something I'd expect a dog to be interested in, beyond the "what's that" sniff.
ReplyDeletehello reggie its dennis the vizsla dog hay bananas!!! tucker yoozed to luv them!!! altho i think he preferrd them peeld!!! ok bye
ReplyDeletenom nom nom cute photos.
