And this poor guy wanted to join in?
Well, my sis's neighbor was away again, and she graciously lets Rita and Reg play in her yard while they're gone (since it's got more grass and there's more room to run). The two of them were playing away...
....when I looked over and saw this.
Talk about adding insult to injury.
In Other Mischief...
Sorry we missed you all last week. You might remember I mentioned last month I sold my next book, An Inconvenient Ruth, and also Rescue Me, Maybe to Lake Union, a publisher owned by Amazon. MAYBE will be re-released in August and RUTH will be out in November. I've started working with my editor on both books, and we'll be continuing that over the next couple of weeks.
I tend to throw myself into this stuff like a crazy person, barely doing anything else until it's done, so the blog suffered last week. I'm going to try to keep it going over these next few weeks, but if I disappear again, that's where I am.
In other news, did anyone watch Best in Shelter with Jill Rappaport on NBC on Saturday night? If not, it was a cute show and featured my fave, Betty White, and some "golden girl" senior pets - from Helen Woodward Animal Center, the shelter where I volunteer! I'd met those cute golden girls and they were all adopted some time ago. It was cool to see those sweet pups and the shelter on a national TV show. It would be great if they turned the show into a series!
Did you see the show?
Great news about the books and well done. Have a marvellous Monday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
