After all, who doesn't like a gift?
"It's a SQUIRREL! Just what I've always wanted!" |
It's a prize package worth over $50! It could either be a gift all for yourself OR... I could be helping you cross off some items on your gift-buying list!
Here's what all is included:
1. A signed copy of my second novel, Rescue Me, Maybe. (If you've already read it, it makes a lovely gift for a dog-loving family member!)
2. A handmade (by my talented sis!) doggy-themed bookmark. It has 2 charms on it - one is a dog paw, and the other is a tiny dog. So cute! (You're probably going to want to keep this for yourself as it's so adorbs, but would also make a great stocking-stuffer.)

4. A tin of Williams Sonoma Peppermint Bark PAWS! (If you've read the book, you know the significance of the Williams Sonoma Peppermint Bark tin. If you haven't read it, isn't that intriguing? Don't you want to know about the odd purpose Jane uses an empty tin for?? Anyway, I went to W.S. to get the P.B. - and discovered that they now have a "Paws" version, and that was just too perfect. Enjoy them yourself while you read and find out what the heck Jane does with that tin, or give them to a dog- and chocolate-loving friend!)
These look YUMMY. |
All you have to do is LEAVE A COMMENT telling me if you're getting/usually get your pet(s) a Christmas present(s). (If I don't "know" you, make sure I know how to reach you.)
You can enter until Tuesday, December 10, at midnight eastern time. Winner will be drawn using Random.org and announced next Wednesday. (Don't leave an extra comment thinking that will up your odds. I'm really anal about copying the comments into excel, deleting any extras and then drawing the number.) :)
In Other News...
Remember I mentioned a while back that both my paperback novels were going to be part of a giveaway to benefit the people effected by Typhoon Haiyan? (I did mention that, right?) Well, it's here! If you like women's fiction/chick lit books there are a lot of cool prizes. Make a tax-deductible donation and be entered to win. Go to the Book Mama Blog to check it out! (While you're there, you could also check out her lovely review of Rescue Me, Maybe.) :)
Happy Super-wordy Wednesday!
Aww, we'd love to enter!
ReplyDeleteI always get the dogs a little something something for Christmas. Last year, I just wrapped one of their BarkBox toys up and gave it to them on Christmas Eve. I might actually go out and buy something for them this year :)
All my pets have always had stockings (dogs, cats, birds, fishes, rats) and I love giving them gifts! I like Rita's idea though so I may need to rethink my gifts for the dogs now...
ReplyDeleteI've always gotten our dogs presents...yes plural. Mostly stuffed toys and treats. No kids, so we go a little nuts with the dogs. My parents would even buy presents for them :)
ReplyDeleteWow, cool giveaway! I'll definitely be getting something for Kayo this year - she's been such an amazing trooper over the last few months since I started blogging. She deserves something extra special!
ReplyDeleteWell we couldn't open presents and let Mr. N just watch us right? We usually get him presents (one is on the way!) and friends and family will sometimes get him something as well.
ReplyDeleteWe have a box for us but what is in it we'd like to know????? Been sniffing around it for days.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful Wednesday.
Best wishes Molly
Dogs always get presents! Usually a box treats and a toy. And family friends often send presents for the dogs too. My friends are as dog crazy as I am.
ReplyDeleteLovely presents you got :))
ReplyDeleteWelcome to my blog
I ALWAYS get my dogs Christmas presents :) They each have a stocking and Santa Paws fills it full with wonderful goodies every year!

We would LOVE to win that scone cook book :-) Of course, I get presents but the best gift is spending the holidays with my family. Happy BlogPaws not WW. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic giveaway! Seriously. (Though Jeffie wants a squirrel like Rita's) The FedEx man should be here today with a box - yes, a big box - of dog toys for my pack. And those are not their only gifts. I am to embarrassed to tell you how much I spend on my dogs for Christmas.
ReplyDeleteWhat are the rules? Are family eligible to enter? Anyway, as you know Indy always gets a gift in her stocking (that I cross-stitched for her my very self). I've got a giraffe hidden in the closet for her.
ReplyDeleteOUR momma loves buying presents for us, and I really loves opening them up, Maggie loved it last year also, now gussie has never had a Christmas before so isa gonna have to explain all the rules to him before hand. We usually get new sticks, treats, and of course stuffies...last year we got Maggie and I couldn't find the receipt to take hers back! I am hoping nuffin like that happens this year.
ReplyDeleteStella Rose
We always get our dogs a new toy. Ike ONLY plays with tennis balls, so he was easy. We usually get Kelly something to behead and unstuff. I hope I win so that I can give your great book to a friend!
ReplyDeleteSince I won the book and adorable book mark last time, you better not enter me. I am going to look for that scone book though, that looks awesome. And the tin,,,hee hee.
ReplyDeleteI always get my dogs a variety of treats which are never put under the tree until Christmas because of the Great Gift Destruction of 2009 in which they destroyed the wrapping of not only their gifts, but all the others under the tree. It was paper and assorted gifts everywhere. The next year they got lumps of coal.
ReplyDeleteWe always get our pets gifts, AND their grandparents get them gifts too! This year Dot will be getting Doggles and a new collar and Taco is getting a new bed (because he chewed his old one up)
ReplyDeleteYes! I get a gift for every occasion. Even for no occasion, I will have a gift--usually a new toy or goodies to much on. Thanks for hosting the giveaway. You can contact me through ruckustheeskie (at) gmail (dot) com
ReplyDeleteOh we would love to be in on the giveaway. Yes, Greta's present is already hidden in the closet. Have not shopped for the other two yet.

Oh wow, what an amazing giveaway! You are a very generous spirit. Also, that bookmark is beautiful! But then, I love anything in paw print. :-)
ReplyDeleteI do usually try to get my pets something for the holidays but last year they both received so many gifts from other friends and family members that we didn't bother. It's not like they knew the difference. ;-)
Perfect giveaways! And yes, Leo always gets Christmas presents! (So does the cat!) Happy Holidays!
ReplyDeleteI usually end up spending more on the pets than anyone else on my list! But that's total for all 5 of them, dogs and cats, so we don't spoil them TOO badly!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great giveaway....my sister really wants your book and that would be cool to have a signed copy for her.
What a great giveaway - all great items to share or keep. I actually don't do gifts for the four-leggers, but my hubby and I also don't do gifts for each other either. We're not scrooges or anything, we're just not "stuff" people AND we're on a tight budget, so we use our shopping money for family. :-)
ReplyDeleteWoohoo! Awesome stuff :) I just bought my rat a very nice gift today, I guess we can say it's for Christmas. Although I hope to start using it before then. It's a new big cage!
ReplyDeleteooh, love a contest!!! we've pretty much finished our shopping for the pups and the kitties.. sam and Melanie are getting new nylabones, reuben, our newest pup who came to us from Pointer Rescue, Org, is getting an Alabama 'roll tide' collar (he came from a shelter in AL). everyone will share a big bag of yummy chummies, too. the kitties are each getting a new collar, and are getting a few treats from santa. can't wait til the big day!!!
ReplyDeleteCharon & the ET syndicate
Oooooooo! I am a voracious reader! Count me IN!
ReplyDeleteYes, our dogs get gifts for Christmas! They usually fare better than my husband and I do, as a matter of fact. They even have stockings that look like they do. This year, thanks to some reviews I'm doing, they're faring even better than they have in the past.
P.S. You wear the tree skirt as a cape? I think it's possible that you and I might be related somehow, because that totally sounds like something I would do! lol
Great giveaway! Yes I get all my pets gifts for Christmas. My huskies usually get stuff like a new collar, a nag of yummy treats or antlers to chew. And a coul!e stuffies or chew toys for them.
ReplyDeleteLove your pics!

I always get my dogs something for Christmas! Love your giveaway! I have been wanting to get your book to read:)
ReplyDeleteAw dog! Scones! If I win, can you just send me scones instead of the cookbook?
ReplyDeleteMy dogs are getting Jones Natural Treats, of course!
I always try to give Princess something for Christmas! Sometimes I wrap up her dollies she hasn't seen or used in awhile too! I'm sure she'll be happy this Christmas!
ReplyDeleteOur dogs always get Christmas gifts! Usually a few new toys and some tasty treats of some sort + a special meal on Xmas day ;)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great gift pack! I usually get Daisy a new Woobie and Jasper and Cupcake a stuff less squeaky toy. Jasper loves balls to chase, but he already has plenty. I would love to find the alligator you featured in today's post though!
ReplyDeleteWow! What a wonderful giveaway! Our greyhound doesn't play with toys, so his gifts are always dog biscuits, treats or chews.

Nice give away! Of course brown dawgs get gifts. Mostly treats, but there may be a toy or two included. :)
ReplyDeletePhew, we're just sliding in with this giveaway! I'm very behind right now.... I sure hope I'm getting something for Christmas, cos I've been a very good boy! :)
ReplyDeleteI hope you're having a fun day,
Your pal Snoopy :)
We always buy our dogs Christmas gifts and we fill their stockings too. Artie and Kouga are so loyal and faithful to our family and we are blessed to share our home with them.
ReplyDeleteMy Bonnie has a little stocking, so yes, she receives a little treat. She's a small dog (Cavalier King Charles spaniel)! We've discovered that she doesn't care much for toys, other than a rubber ball she treats as a soccer ball, so a small bag of Bil-Jac liver treats is her Christmas surprise!
ReplyDeleteWrigs hopes he'll be getting something special for Christmas. In his letter to Santa he specified treats or toys--nothing he has to wear. :-) But, he's okay with humans getting something too.
ReplyDeleteSusan and Wrigs
Yes, I do get my fur babies Christmas gifts. My kitty even has her own stocking :)
