Yep, Pixie got up to her old tricks-ies again. She's a bit bigger, and a bit older, and she is also apparently a bit
wiser, because Mom's hiding place for re-worked Mini Rio on the shelf of the bookcase was no good, once Pixie realized she could still get at Mini Rio with a little stretching from the staircase.

Busted, Pixie! And now I'm guilty of some mischief myself because poor dismembered Mini Rio has been here visiting in California for
weeks now and I still haven't put her back together! Now that things are a little more under control with the new novel, I'm planning to get Mini Rio all fixed up and on her way back to her mom this week!

ReplyDeleteI guess mini Rio is going to have to go up a bit higher on the shelf, hmmm? You can probably only repair her so many times! But surely it could have been worse....a certain one of my dogs probably would have consumed some of those limbs, and there may have been nothing left to repair!

ReplyDeletePixie is so ridiculously cute - surely she's not guilty! Pixie was the name of my "best dog" growing up, so I'm partial. Poor little Mini Rio, that's so funny that Pixie's gotten after her twice. Well, not funny, but you know. It's actually really nice of her to only pull the legs off instead of shredding poor Rio to bits. Also quite kind of her not to swallow the legs. See Pixie, I got your back!
