Rita and I vote to hibernate through the rest of the work. Wake us when it's over.

Would you like to give hibernation a try? Just for a little while? If not, what animal ability would you like to have?*
* For me, after hibernation, I'd love to try flying low and skimming along just above the ocean the way pelicans do. That looks so cool!

I think there is definitely something to be said for hibernation. Especially if you lived in cold locales, it would be one way to avoid the cold weather. Rita will be so glad when the remodel is over - that pic says it all!
ReplyDeleteYeah, if we had terrible weather here, I'd definitely want to hibernate until spring!
DeleteI would go with flight too. She is so dang cute.
ReplyDeleteFlight would be so awesome!
DeleteHibernation definitely! Especially when a freezing wind is blowing.
ReplyDeleteMonty, Harlow, and Ramble
Oooo, freezing wind - just the phrase makes me get goose bumps.
DeleteI'm sure i was a bear in another life, every thing about hibernation is appealing to me. Wake me up when the days get long again
ReplyDeleteI'd like to be able to hibernate for just a few days here, a few days there. Not the whole winter - but then, our winters aren't that bad!
Deletehang in there
ReplyDeleteWe're trying!
DeleteYou hibernate girl! You deserve it! <3
ReplyDeleteThe bummer is - it's hard to hibernate with all the noise! Heck, we can't even nap let alone hibernate!
DeleteWe would all like to run like Cheetahs! Work people at home are never fun!
ReplyDeleteOooo, good pick!
DeleteHang in there it will be over soon. Enjoy your snooze.
ReplyDeleteZzzzzzzzz
DeleteHang in there, Rita and Mom, it will be over soon (hopefully). Hibernation definitely sounds good to me....but flying too, definitely!
ReplyDeleteI've been sleeping really badly for about the last 9 months, so right now hibernation sounds like a dream!!
DeleteIt's always been my dream to hibernate in summer. Or at least they should have built an air conditioned dome over the valley by now to get us through the worst part of summer. I think it would be cool to be able to soar through the air and poop at the same time. Is that weird?
ReplyDeletelol! That's hysterical. Would you like to do that over anyone/where in particular? :)
DeleteHahahaha, yes, I have a few targets in mind. ;)
DeleteI'd like to hibernate for about 4 years ;-)
ReplyDeleteI was thinking the very same thing....
DeleteI would LOVE to hibernate! if only that were an option!
ReplyDeleteWouldn't it be great!? Maybe not every year - and maybe not ALL winter, but at least for a few days here and there. Maybe a few weeks... or months.
DeleteJust keep reminding yourself how fabulous your kitchen is going to be I think I'd like to be a monkey so I could climb trees ☺
ReplyDeleteOh, good pick!
DeleteOnce upon a time I was all about hibernation. Now I just want to get up and do things! Including wanting so badly to finish my own kitchen remodel!
ReplyDeleteHmmm.... I think you should wish to be a beaver then. THey're known for their wood-working abilities and also known to be hard workers. You'd have your kitchen done in no time. :)
DeleteSuch PAWfect photos of Rita. Depicting how both of you are feeling!
ReplyDeleteShe's a very expressive girl!
DeleteI vote for migration. The animals that move south for the winter, like ospreys, are doing it right. Hope your remodeling is finished and beautiful soon!
ReplyDeleteAnd they don't have to fly "coach"! :)
DeleteHibernation during a renovation is a terrific strategy. So is wine. Lots of wine for you and belly rubs for Rita. Perhaps walks on the beach will help pass the time. Here's hoping the work will be completely soon and you'll have a fabulous new space. ღ
ReplyDeleteI'm not a wine girl, but gelato and margaritas are helping me get through it. Way. Too. Much. Gelato.
DeleteI'm sure it will be worth it when it's done. My biped isn't looking forward to all the cleaning when our work is done!
ReplyDeleteI would love to fly, but I'd fly up really high like eagles do.
I've been thinking about that a lot. If I could hibernate for the next 2 months while my broken leg heals, I wouldn't be nearly as bored as I am now. And my leg would probably heal faster, too!
ReplyDeleteJean from Welcome to the Menagerie
Hopefully the construction is over soon.
ReplyDeleteOf course fight would be fun. Echolocation would be interesting. Swimming like a porpoise would be cool too. Too many amazing animal abilities to choose from.
