They played:
They play-bowed:
They tussled until they were beat:
And then my sis noticed this poor neighbor kid, left out in the cold.
Well, left out of the fun anyway, cuz it's not all that cold here. Poor guy!
Okay, on the subject of cold... Not to rub it in or anything, but the forecast for Wednesday in San Diego is the classic S.D. forecast - 71 and sunny! (No excuse for us to not get out and play, right?)
How is it where you are?
Thanks to Blogpaws for hosting Wordless Wednesday!
Warm here too!! Enjoy seeing the photos of the "play date " we still have to be careful with Schatzie and the rough housing. Great photos.
ReplyDeleteHope Schatzie's continuing to get better!
DeleteLooks like both had a pawsome time and we feel sad for the poor dog next door. Have a wonderful Wednesday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
Hmph to you and your "cold" lol they look to be having a grand time, poor pup though having to watch on haha
ReplyDeleteI know - torture!
DeleteLooks like great fun! Love Dolly
ReplyDeleteFor everybody but the neighbor pup!
DeleteAwww poor sad pup. Did he get to play?
ReplyDeleteNewp. Poor kid.
DeleteWe are in sunny AZ - so the weather is perfect right now!
ReplyDeleteCan the pup come play?
Monty and Harlow
Oh, another warm weather person! Lucky!
DeleteDon't you just love it when they find a new friend to have fun with? Enjoy that warm, sunny weather!
ReplyDeleteWe are enjoying it. :)
DeleteToo bad for the pup that did not get to play. in the 20's at night and 30's in the day, which is better than the sub zero we had two weeks ago!
ReplyDeletehugs
Mr Bailey, Hazel & Mabel
Oh my goodness! 20s and 30s alone would kill me. Can't imagine sub zero! I'd never leave the house!
DeleteI bet your sister is very glad to have Rita burn off Reggie's energy. Those young Cardis can be quite the handful!
ReplyDeleteCurrent temperature:23
Oh man, I shiver just READING that temperature.
DeleteWe have been in the 60s but the fog moved in overnight and took the warming rays of the sun away. We're cheering for the sun to break through later in the day. Go sun!!!
ReplyDeleteI enjoy a foggy day every now and then. We had a bit of fog the other night, but it's mostly been pretty clear lately.
DeleteIt is sunny but it was 3 degrees as I drove to work. That is the problem here in winter, the sunnier it is, the colder it usually is. Ah well soon it will be Spring. I don't care so much about the cold, but I will be happy when it starts staying light later. The dark gets me. I bet the pups were tired after all that romping.
ReplyDelete3 degrees?! AND YOU WENT OUT IN THAT? See, this is why I can't live in a cold place. Because I just don't want to go outside once it goes below 40! (And I hear you on the dark. We used to live in London, Ontario - which I'm sure was named after the real London because it was also a grey, never-sunny place. Such a drag!)
DeleteYou just had to rub it in. :)
ReplyDeleteHoney is happy to play in any weather. In fact, I could probably steal your woof balloons to apply to her just fine. But we see a lot fewer dogs on our walks in the winters.
Sissies.
BTW, is was about -7 last night.
Nooooo, I wasn't rubbing it in!
DeleteMuch.
funny photos and play time, awe sorry pup about having to watch and not play.
ReplyDeleteI know... feel a little guilty about that.
DeleteThose two have so much fun playing together, no wonder the neighbor dog wanted to join in!
ReplyDeleteSure you didn't want to rub it in...LOL....we had 16 below this morning but it got up to a whopping 20 degrees by afternoon!
Jan, Wag 'n Woof Pets
16 below?? Literally - another shiver as I read that. See, I can't live in that kinda cold. I get cold just reading about it.
DeleteFunny photos and hilarious commentary! Poor dog left out of the fun...
ReplyDeleteWe're lucky if we see 71° in July!!! Today's 30° was balmy!
Looks like you two had a fun time. Too bad the neighbor couldn't join in the fun.
ReplyDeleteOur neighbor dog behind us is always sad watching us play as she is an only dog, but we don't let it stop us!
ReplyDeleteIt was sunny... now it is pouring on and off.
ReplyDeleteLove the ad-libs. Sure looks like they had a blast. :-)
