Anyway, here's Rita opening her gifts. Do you wrap presents and let your pup(s) open them?
Here she is sacked out with her meager gift pile (she's so deprived!) - a chipmunk toy and a Himalayan chew.
She was so funny. We let her open her gifts first, then we all opened ours, taking turns and opening things one at a time. When anyone had a present wrapped in paper that they tore open, she would sit and watch, like she was really interested in what they were getting. So cute. (Pretty sure she was just hoping it was treats she could share in...)

One last quick share - had to get a video of how nutty she was (and still is) with her Himalayan chew. She attacks it every time before gnawing on it! Such a riot.
Even now, three weeks later, she's still attacking the nub that's left every time before she chews on it.
Any idea what the heck she's thinking??

She is nutty, attacking that thing. And it zings around your floor like a hockey puck. Maybe she is pretending to be a hockey player fighting an opponent.

DeleteWhat a wonderful video. We always wrap the presents for our pups. Our boys got a motorized "tail" toy (for lack of the real name) and they about drove themselves into exhaustion playing with it. Rita looks like she had fun too!

DeleteI'm glad I'm higher that Rita on the food chain. I do a lot of shopping on line and I let my dogs unwrap every package. If it doesn't smell like a threat or toy they lose interest quickly
ReplyDeleteHaha. Yes, Rita is the same with all the online packages that we receive here. She wants to be involved with opening all of it! She thinks everything is potentially for her. Boy is she bummed when it's not!

ReplyDeleteYou know, it's funny I even bought her this one because I ddint really like the first one I bought her. The first one was gone in nothing flat, which was a big bummer because they're not a cheap chew! But this one I've been happy with. She still has a little chunk of it left, so it's lasted a good long time. (But she's not a super crazy chewer.) Have you tried one with Cocoa?
